A GREAT THANKS FROM NORWAY

After a long stay at our hotel we received the thanks and praise from Gerd Hennum, a nice Norwegian lady who was in our region to film, with producer Svein Tallaksen, a documentary about the construction of the Oslo Opera House, where it was used our precious marble of Carrara.

In this picture we can see Gerd Hennum, journalist, art critic, author of books and engaged in the construction of seven documentaries including "THE BRIDGE TO TOSCANA" with Svein Tallaksen producer.

The entire building is covered with large modules coming from over 1,000 blocks of Apuan marble characterized by a fine grain.
The supplier of the marble was the Campolonghi Italy Spa that helped the group of Norwegian architects called Snøhetta in the execution phase of this difficult and innovative work.

The documentary is called “THE BRIDGE TO TOSCANA” and we hope it will be possible to produce an Italian version of it, so as an Italian public will get the opportunity to learn how highly Italian art and culture are regarded in Norway, and how important the co-operation between Norwegian artists and Italian artisans have been to the art history of Norway.

Another good reason to be proud of our country!

We want to send a big thanks to our guest and we hope to see you soon!
